About The Book
The book “Lord Jesus Please Help Me Find My Happy” is a work that was inspired by the Holy Spirit and the first of six books that the Lord has led author David Boudreaux to write. The book was inspired by the desire to see each person who has accepted Christ as their savior to experience the joy that they had when they were first saved. When a person gets saved they are generally on fire for God. They are so excited about what God has done for them and what He will do in the future, as well as the potential of what they can do for God, that they can hardly control the emotional high. After a while life gets in the way however, and the excitement fades, and we let circumstance steel our joy. Salvation does not bring an end to trials and tribulation, in fact, it often results in more of them. The Christian is equipped to overcome these obstacles with the tools that God has given to us in His Word. The book begins with a summary of the things that can steel our joy and continues with the ways that we try to find our happiness on our own in all the wrong places without God. Finally, it leads the Christian down the right path back to their happiness in the Lord that they once had. Jesus wants us to have a more abundant life.
